Frightening and danergous experience watching my son be thrown off a horse all caused shortly after he climbed on following all the directives of the one kind handler. A beautiful horse set off in a rage by the horrible temperament of the owner manager self identified as Corey.
I waited a week to post this thinking we might get some sort of follow up or phone call to see how he was maybe even a possible apology , and nothing.
Rider be aware, if my son wasn't strong and large he would not have been able to hold in and protect himself. A beautiful property , beautiful animals, and some wonderful workers all subjected to an angry boss who almost caused a life to change forever.

Great place for a trail ride! My wife and I were vacationing in Galena and we thought it would be fun to do a trail ride. Shenandoah was a great place to do this, the staff was very friendly and helpful they really made you feel comfortable and educated you on how to ride. My wife and I have ridden horses before but far and few between so this was the first time in awhile for the both of us and we did just fine on the intermediate trail ride. We got to do some trotting which was a trill. The trails were very nice and gave a verity of views and challenges. Defiantly recommend this activity if you are in the Galena area. Also don't forget to tip your guide.
